We’re excited to welcome Daniel DeMott to the Ward & Taylor team! Here’s a quick look at what makes him a great addition to our firm; and a few fun facts to get to know him better:

👩‍⚖️ What inspired you to become a lawyer?
“I come from a family with deep roots in the Delaware legal community, particularly in Sussex County – including my grandfather, several aunts and an uncle, my older brother, and one of my cousins. Growing up and spending Sunday afternoons at my grandparents’ house for spaghetti dinner, a great deal of conversations at the table involved things happening within the legal world.”

☕ Favorite local spot:
“Hard to choose since we are blessed with so many wonderful restaurants in the area, but one of my all-time favorites is Jimmy’s Kitchen in Fenwick Island!”

🌱 Something people might be surprised to learn:
“I have a large collection of glass art and house plants.”

⚽ How do you spend your free time?
“I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cat Luna, visiting the Delaware beaches, and following sports, particularly English Premier League soccer.”
